Laura graduated with a BA in Design & Visual Communication from the Politecnico of Milano (Italy).

 

Since, she has worked for Whirlpool Europe as a Multimedia Designer and for Crackartoons Studios as a stop-motion Animator (Milano, Italy).

 

Laura completed her Master degree in Animation at the University of the West of England (Bristol, UK) in June 2009.

 

Her final project was a 5 minutes cut-out animation called “The Legend of Geb and Nut”. Currently, the film is participating at international film festivals including Annecy 2010 and it’s winning a variety of important prizes.

 

Since then she worked as a Teacher Junior fellow at the summer animation school at the University of Alghero (Italy) and at the University of the West of England for an year period.

 

She has also been involved in “The incredible Journey” a film that commemorates the 40th anniversary of the return of the SS Great Britain in Bristol.

 

At the present time, Laura is working as a freelance animator for different studios such as Wonky Films (Bristol), This is Home (Bristol) and The Shooting Star Picture Company (Sydney, Aus).

 

Laura enjoys combining different animation techniques such as stop motion, live action and digital composing.

 

Her illustrations are mostly paintings, screen printings and engravings.
